Hi there! I’m Theresa – a home baker who wanted somewhere to record all my pastry baking endeavors. Over years of baking pies and other goodies in my kitchen, I’ve made a lot of messes and mistakes, but have learned so much along the way. My hope is that this blog will be a place to record my learnings, as well as a discussion spot for others to ask questions and share their own baking knowledge.
I’ve named this site Pastry Adventures to reflect my love of working with dough as I attempt to teach myself the art of French Pastry. Join me as I turn my kitchen into a lab and apply the chemistry of baking to create gorgeous and delicious pies, macarons, and pain au chocolat. If only this was the type of science we got to learn in school!
